Screening: The Zoongidewin Project

The Canadian Journalism Foundation is screening The Zoongidewin Project, a short documentary produced by Anishinaabe journalist Lenard Monkman. The film looks directly at the HIV crisis in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, where Indigenous people account for 76 per cent of new cases, and approaches the epidemic through a harm-reduction lens. Pulitzer and Peabody Award-winning journalist Connie Walker leads the conversation after the screening, followed by a Q&A.
